Walking around Caorle seems to through the streets of Venice, the small shops , narrow streets and the vitality typical Venetian. The places to visit are many, a mix of history, art and nature to give you a wonderful holiday.

  • the “cliff living”where you can walk by the sea, is one of the most beautiful Venetian walks to the character of the rocks sculpted

A visit at theCathedral that cointened many paintings of the XVI and XVIII century by important artists such as Pomponio Amalteo and Palma il Giovane.
There are three churches:

  • church of San Giovanni . Church with beautiful frescoes of the XV century
  • church of Sant’Agnese. Church with frescoes of the XIV century
  • church of San Luigi. The most ancient church in Portogruaro.

  • the Museo Civico Concordiese containing archaeological finds of Concordia
  • the Mulini and Pescheria, home of the contemporary art gallery
  • the paleontological museum with 1500 finds.

A 3km from Portogruaro isAbbey in Summaga the X – XI century with frescoes of the XI – XIII century , a graceful placet o visit.

Concordia Sagittaria

The ancient village of Concordia is founded at 42 B.C.. Walk around this place you could jump back into the past of Iulia Concordia.

To visit:

  • the Santo Stefano Cathedral in the centre of Concordia, that contains many frescoes
  • the Baptistery built at the end of the XI century
  • the Archaeological excavations near the Cathedral
  • the Palazzo Municipale, built in the XVI century, that contains archaeological finds of Iulia Concordia.
